I pictured it would be big, but this was just mind-blowing! Everywhere you look there’s an ever greater view than the other. We were there for 3 nights and got to spend 2 whole days around the rim. That gave us time to do several things like, watch the Sunset from different places along the rim, watched an incredible sunrise at Mather Point, drive along the rim on “Desert View Drive” and “Hermit Road” that lead us to ………. 

On saturday I maid up my mind and decided to take a 50 min. helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon! Come on!! When am I going back? This had to be done! Annika got to sit in the middle next to the pilot up front:) Jealous? No no no no no no….. hehe. I couldn’t care less because everywhere  I looked I saw something amazing! I wish I could show all of my pictures!! But instead I’m working on a little amateur video from the sky. 

There’s a lot of things that surprises you when you’re standing on the edge of the rim. like:

How far it is to the other side!!
How deep it is!!
The colors!
How crazy and INDESCRIBABLE it is:) and the list could go on and on….
