Going through immigration at LAX ad other airports can sometimes by a pain in the a..! Especially if you got seated way in the back of the plane and it takes forever to get out, and what happens is that you end up being some of the last to go through immigration. The tip is to get as fast as possible down to the immigration area, because the more people you pass, the more time you save to get through immigration. Each person going through uses at least 2-5 minutes… so if you end up having 20-30 people in line in front of you, you’ll easily spend 30-40 min extra, just in line!!  And if you add the time you spend waiting for your luggage you’ll end up spending an extra hour at the airport.
So being quick can save you valuable time;)
